the WRITER'S post

I can write but I do not want to be any author, I am not that passionate. I know, coz I have friends who are that passionate and talented. Passion is what drives the talent in you, but for me it is just a hobby. A way of venting feelings, coz although I talk a lot I am a very reserved person. I fiercely guard whom and what I call my own, includes my emotions.

Today, someone visited my blog and suggested I write a little more about the "ME" that he has seen and knows, as that would make the blog way more interesting and attract more people to read it. I thank you for your valuable opinion, it is important to me and so are you.

It has forced me to think on the subject of "perception “I am different for every person I know. It’s like the scenery changes when you move from one location to another, similarly, I also change. It is so strange, that barring a few similarities mostly the way two people perceive you would be completely different. I have thought about this and reached the conclusion that the reason would be that we are constantly judging people and categorizing them, in that process we only grasp a dominant feature of the individual and chose to ignore the others without assigning reasons. So then "Ï" become arrogant, clever, fat, stubborn etc. but "I “maybe, all and much more is lost.

Every coin has two faces and mostly only one is shown. Let people enjoy their space and not be pushed to feel that they are criminals for being how they are. So however offbeat I write, I cannot put here my personal space even if it is like a celebrity lifestyle I lead.

The next time you judge someone, be careful, you may be treading on someone's belief and confidence and degrading their value unnecessarily and also that we see what we are. I would also like to add, I am only going to write what I feel appropriate of sharing. If you know me then you know me, if you don't too bad, my blog would not tell you that.

Rainbow

The sad part of the story is that each of us is different but we want the others to be like us- similar. That is where the conflict arises.

In his eyes she was an uncontrollable havoc with an unforgiving tongue and till it did not hurt him, she was encouraged. A tongue, is a boneless Organ and the mind likes to do what is appreciated. So the hurt was there, but she didnt c why?
There was then the fight "of rights and wrongs" and she felt out numbered, numbed, overpowered, lost and lonely. There was nothing to be blamed.

And this loneliness was followed by a long silence. Uncomfortable. And defeaningly Loud.

She cried a bit. Wiped away those tears. Forgot or tried to. But up she was on her feet. Recovering almost instantly or feeling so. There did not seem a point in lying down and playing blame games, the verdict was given and she could not change it. So she set out again, wiser and better or was it bitter?

Incognito - Day 1

Every travel is a new experience. As I am wheelchair bound, I am being given special care and attention,.all through the flight and then at the airport.
Day 0.5 has been well enough. People who pushed me through and bear with my slow moving motions, Thank you.
For the deligent work that you men and women do the Country runs smoothly, err with some jerks.

Day 2: As I cannot climb or walk down stairs, I had been provided wheelchairs all through my flight and people have been really considerate and at other circumstances, I have managed. I understand, I am not in a very critical condition. like the others I saw or equally bad in some cases. One incident that I shall never forget and I hope that people need to be a little more sensitive to the needs and pain of others, I would like to share.

I was at the Kuala Laumpur airport en route  Jakarta. I had already had a day long journey behind me, Ahmedabad-Mumbai-Colombo-KL. I also had a lady and her husband travelling with me from Ahmedabad. The lady must have had some issues with her leg and was also using the wheelchair and other times walking about. My Mom got friendly and told them about their condition and our travel and asked about theirs, and they were to vacation at Malaysia.  All was well till we landed at KL. The flight attendant informed me that the wheelchair had come, but I should remain seated so I would not be at discomfort with other passengers disembarking. In this while the lady besides me left. What happened next was a shocker, I go out and the wheelchair is gone, the lady next to me had taken it, coz she had felt that I was not in need of it as she had remarked to her husband earlier during the flight. The KL airport is massive and there was no way I would have walked my way through my departure gate. As the requested wheelchair had gone and there was no other way out I had to walk, after a lot of coaxing and some help from officials I was allotted a wheelchair and we managed the flight just in time.

I would just like to mention here, I am in tip top condition except that I am unable to put weight or walk on my left leg and for me even with that foot it is difficult to stay confined. I am not complaining against her or anyone. It is necessary that we are sensitive to the pain of the other, their shortcomings and discomfort. Rather than judging a situation, why not be more humble. It just hurt me so much, that incident, that I really needed to put it down. Young or Old does not matter, it is the fact that others are also suffering and we all need to shrug off a little and smile, so it keeps the world going.

More on the travels, later!
Goodnite!

P.S: This one has been written on two different days therefore the above paras.
